Spread positivity — Covid-19

We are definitely going through a hard time now with COVID-19, impacting us in all aspects of life. We are absolutely clueless and fighting through the crisis with lots of misconceptions and lack of understanding. It’s time to educate ourselves, develop healthy habits and spread the utmost positivity as much as possible.

I have been going through lots of social media posts where people keep on constantly spreading awareness, sharing regular updates. Also many are constantly working to bridge the social gap and spread awareness via technologies. I have seen a few developing websites listing real-time data on COVID-19 cases. I just loved the way people are emotionally connected and trying to help each other with so much hope. This encouraged me to push myself towards contributing a little and add a deck of positivity to all these. What could I do differently? What if I could spread some positivity by sharing some really healthy, thankful and positive news, ads and social media updates that encouraged me in recent times.

I have spent some quality time collecting these with the aim of spreading positivity, thanking few innovators and celebrating their responsibilities.

I am a big fan of startups and have been following their creative ads on corona outspread which I thought of documenting here as a hub. Thus these creative efforts from various brands would definitely push us to gain awareness and positivity to face challenges.

First, let’s look at a few screenshots on how brands are respecting government efforts and orders. Obedience and self-discipline are two primary factors and the one we Indians hardly manage to sustain.

  • Amazon — closed down major of its services except for few essentials like masks, sanitizers, etc
  • Flipkart — warning to insist on the delay of deliveries
  • Wallmart — on lockdown
  • Swiggy and Zomato about their silence
  • Bookmyshow and Ticketnew — regarding the suspension of shows

Now let’s examine how brands are innovatively spreading some awareness to their customers.

Amul — never failed to connect emotionally with India in difficult times. This one from them is epic,

Greater the power greater the responsibility, Mercedes-Benz on social media

Burger King went big to their size,

This one is from Byjus, one of the youngest Indian unicorn

Dunzo has done it their way of UI,

Jio popped up their unique way,

This is really epic from McDonald Brazil during the lockdown,

Nike played well and it went viral on social media too,

Swiggy’s and Zomato ‘s—response

Some respectful companies and CEO’s went miles beyond ads and volunteered a lot to smooth the situation. Let’s appreciate and get inspired by a few of them,

This man besides being a powerful Indian CEO gained huge respect as a human, Zoho, and Sridhar really owe huge respect from us

And here comes the ferocious super-man of 20’s Elon Musk with his part,

FedX delivered in their own style,

Girish with his sportive note,

Github found a way to collaborate here too,

How can we miss one from our pride super-human Sundar Pichai? No way,

If you haven’t read about Kissflow and Suresh Sambandam earlier, please go ahead and I bet he is damn inspiring with his culture. Thus no surprise with this action too.

Uniliver on its way,

Wallmart also pushed their part in,

Finally, it’s time to thank a few who are tirelessly working for the welfare of our’s on streets, hospitals, healthcare centers, etc. Take a moment to thank them and pray for them every day without fail. If these people found a way to celebrate them why not us,

Dunzo in their app,

Gojek with their own design impression,

On a final note, please don’t spread any false messages. Be aware of the current situation, educate yourself to stay safe and spread positivity as much you could like these people. This can be done by all of us easily and trust me small things do wonder most of the time.

I wish to share a few website links which you can use to get a grasp of current status and live updates on COVID-19.
